Digital signage

Digital signage gives your store a way to show promotions, news and information that can be changed in minutes rather than days. You manage the content for one store or the whole chain from one place. StoreIQ supplies screens, media players and installation for retailers across Sweden.

Digital signage

Benefits for your store

  • Change promotions in minutes instead of reprinting
  • Manage one store or the whole chain centrally
  • Schedule content by time of day and weekday
  • High-brightness displays for shop windows
  • The same campaign on screen and shelf edge
  • Automatic switch-off after closing time

Screens where customers actually look

Placement decides how useful a screen will be. Shop windows need high-brightness displays that remain visible in direct sunlight, while screens at the till and in the aisles can be smaller and mounted at eye level. We walk through the customer journey in your store and suggest where screens fit best, how they should be mounted and how cables and power can be routed neatly.

Digital signage can also work behind the scenes, for example on a screen in the staff room showing current promotions, targets and routines. The same platform can drive several kinds of screen, so you do not need a separate solution for each purpose. That keeps both costs and the number of systems your team has to learn under control.

Content managed centrally and scheduled

Content managed centrally and scheduled

Content is uploaded through a web-based tool and can be scheduled by time of day, day of the week or campaign period. Breakfast offers in the morning, lunch deals at midday and different messages in the evening become easy to manage. For chains, the same campaign can be published in every store, or content can be tailored by region and location.

Screens can switch off automatically after closing and start up before opening, saving energy and extending their lifespan. If a screen or media player loses connection, it shows up in StoreIQ Hub so the issue can be dealt with before customers notice. With a service agreement we can often restart or troubleshoot the player remotely, without anyone needing to visit the store.

The same message on screen and shelf edge

If you already use electronic shelf labels, digital signage and ESL can work together. When a promotion starts it appears on the screens at the same moment the price changes on the shelf. This gives a consistent impression and reduces the risk of signs and prices telling different stories, which is common when promotions are changed by hand.

Screens can also show content from other sources, such as queue information, opening hours or local news. We help you find a level where screens support sales without making the store feel cluttered, and where content is simple for staff to update themselves. A good rule of thumb is that every screen should have a clear purpose and fresh messages.

Installation and support from one supplier

We handle the whole chain: choice of screens, wall brackets and stands, media players, network and software. Installation is carried out outside opening hours, and once everything is in place we show you how to upload and schedule content. You have one contact for both hardware and software, which makes life easier whenever something needs to change.

With a service agreement we monitor the screens and help if anything stops working. It suits both independent stores that want to start with a few screens and chains planning to roll out digital signage across many locations in Sweden. You can start small and expand step by step as you learn which placements and messages work best for your customers.

Frequently asked questions

Which screens are suitable for a shop window?

Shop windows need screens with much higher brightness than ordinary televisions, otherwise content is hard to see in daylight. They should also be built to run for many hours a day. We recommend model and size based on the window dimensions, the direction it faces and how the screen will be mounted.

Can we change the content on the screens ourselves?

Yes. Content is managed in a web-based tool where you upload images and videos and choose when they are shown. We walk you through the tool during installation. If you would rather we helped with setting up content, that can be arranged as well.

Does digital signage work across several stores?

Yes, and that is one of its main advantages. You can publish the same campaign in every store at once or tailor content by store and region. It makes it easier for chains to keep a consistent look without sending out printed material to each location.

Can the screens be linked to electronic shelf labels?

In many cases, yes. A promotion can be set up so that it appears on screens at the same time as the price changes on the shelf edge. How the link is made depends on the systems you use, and we review the options during the site visit.

What happens if a screen stops working?

If a screen or media player loses connection, it is flagged in StoreIQ Hub. Under a service agreement we troubleshoot remotely and visit to repair or replace equipment when needed, so you have a single contact for the entire signage solution.
