Electronics
Store technology for electronics retail – pricing, security, signage
Electronics retail means high-value products, fast-moving prices and customers who compare carefully before they buy. StoreIQ supplies electronic shelf labels, anti-theft gates, cameras and digital signage that work together. We install across Sweden, outside opening hours, and you have one contact for everything.
Challenges we often solve
Fast-moving prices
Electronics prices change often and competition is tough, both from other stores and from online retailers. Keeping the shelf edge up to date with paper labels becomes a constant task in which it is easy to miss something.
High-value products to protect
Mobile phones, headphones, accessories and gaming products pack high value into a small size. The store needs to protect them while customers still want to look at, handle and try products before deciding.
Customers who want more information
Customers compare specifications, reviews and prices, often with a phone in hand. A small paper label is rarely enough, and staff cannot always answer every detailed question when the store is busy.
The same price in store and online
Customers expect the price in store to match the online shop. When prices change across channels at different times, questions arise at the till and trust in the pricing of the store can suffer.
Electronic shelf labels with QR codes to product information
With electronic shelf labels, prices are taken directly from your POS or ERP system and the shelf edge updates within minutes. When you adjust a price or launch a promotion, it applies on the shelf and at the till at the same time, and can be kept in step with your online shop. Staff no longer swap paper labels and can focus on helping customers.
The label can display a QR code linking to the product page, with specifications, reviews and accessories. Customers get more information right at the shelf, and staff can concentrate on giving advice. A light on the label can flash to guide order picking and restocking, and the status of every label is visible in StoreIQ Hub.
Anti-theft gates and cameras for high-value products
Anti-theft gates at the entrance together with soft or hard tags on products reduce the risk of items leaving the store unpaid. We tailor the solution to your entrance and range, with deactivation at the till so the flow stays smooth. The gates can be discreet and suit the interior of the store.
High-resolution cameras at the entrance, tills, stockroom and vulnerable displays provide a record when something needs following up and a safer environment for staff. You can watch live and play back footage from your phone or computer. We help you position the cameras and advise on signage and retention under GDPR, while intruder alarms protect the store when it is closed.
Digital signage and one contact for all your technology
With digital signage you show promotions, launches and news on screens in the shop window, at the till and next to the products. Content is managed centrally for one or all stores and can run at the same time as the promotional price on the shelf edge. That makes it easier to highlight the right products at the right moment.
We start with a store visit and give you a clear proposal with a fixed price and timeline. Installation takes place outside opening hours across Sweden so the store can stay open as usual. With a service agreement we monitor labels, cameras, network and alarms, and you have one contact instead of several suppliers.

Frequently asked questions
Can shelf prices be kept in step with our online shop?
Yes, if prices are managed in the same system or the systems can be connected. The labels take prices from your POS or ERP system, and the same source can feed your online shop. During the store visit we review your systems and how the connection can be made.
What can the QR code on the label link to?
The QR code can link to the product page in your online shop or to any other information you want to show, such as specifications, reviews or accessories. Customers scan the code with their phone right at the shelf. You control which information is shown through your own system.
What rules apply to video surveillance in a store?
Video surveillance in a store is covered by GDPR, among other things, and by requirements for signage. We help with positioning, signage and retention settings and explain what typically applies. However, the store is responsible for complying with the rules, and if in doubt we recommend seeking legal advice.
Can the anti-theft gates be linked to the cameras?
Yes. Gates and cameras at the entrance can be linked, making it easier to follow up on what happened when an alarm went off. The number of alarms can also be tracked in StoreIQ Hub, giving an overview over time for one or several stores.
